Riverside County

The owners of this 5-½ acre parcel had died while their now-elderly sons lived in dangerous hoarder conditions on the property. The accumulation of junk was so substantial that it produced $228,657 in revenue when CRG brought it to a local recycling center. Following CRG’s intervention, the residents claimed that their property wasn’t subject to court jurisdiction due to its absence from the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Their argument proved unsuccessful.
