The owner of this property was a self-proclaimed Rastafarian minister with a hoarding habit. He also grew “medical” marijuana in his backyard. CRG was tapped to revamp the property, a process that included the removal of nine marijuana plants in the backyard. One of only two properties involuntarily sold by CRG, the foreclosure occurred after the marijuana-growing owner for over a year advised that he had “off-shore” money coming in to pay the lien. Such funds never materialized.
